Capture DC Moments was built on the belief that visual storytelling should do more than document an event — it should capture purpose, reflect significance, and create lasting value.

Founded by Ivan Dervishi, the agency was shaped by experience across digital communications, broadcast television, activism, and nonprofit storytelling. Throughout his career, Ivan saw how powerful visuals can inform, engage, and move audiences — not only in the moment, but long after. That perspective became the foundation of Capture DC Moments.

Before launching the company, Ivan worked in nonprofit communications, where he developed a deep understanding of what organizations need from event coverage. He saw firsthand how communications teams rely on visual content not just to document a gathering, but to support visibility, engagement, outreach, and storytelling throughout the year.

He later brought that understanding into broadcast television and editorial leadership, where he further developed an eye for quality, narrative, timing, and impact. Those experiences reinforced the value of clear, compelling visuals and the importance of professionalism in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.

Capture DC Moments was created to bring those worlds together — strategic communications, media-level storytelling, and seamless event production. Today, we partner with organizations to deliver premium photography, videography, and post-production for conferences, corporate events, nonprofit gatherings, and high-profile live experiences.
